Vintage Antique Sterling Silver 1928 Cohen & Charles Chester England Box. Albert Cohen and Charles Solomon Trading Thavies Inn, Holborn Circus, London. Light weight, fitted wood 'liner'. Bottom is stamped C & C, lion passant, Chester town mark and a date mark of 'C'. Lid is stamped with lion passant, and date mark of 'C'. Smooth polished sides, flat corners, bar 'handle', textured lid, interior hinge and an interior wooden box. 9.5 oz total weight. 1 5/8" high x 4 1/4" wide x 3 3/4" deep. Very good vintage condition. Shows wear due to age with scuffs, scratches, tarnish and light dings. Bottom had a fabric panel that has worn away. See all photos.
