Description
Vintage handcrafted stoneware pitcher by Ben Owen III, made in Seagrove, North Carolina and signed and dated 1981. This piece features a classic gray salt-glazed finish with hand-applied cobalt blue decoration, representative of the traditional North Carolina pottery style.
The pitcher has a rounded, well-balanced form with a flared rim and sturdy applied handle. The textured salt glaze creates a natural orange-peel surface with beautiful variation throughout.
