This is a hand painted fire brick featuring 1984 by George Orwell.
Two sides are painted, leaving the rest exposed brick. Sealed with gloss varnish to help preserve the art. I learned people are putting these on their porches !
Please keep in mind that some of the surfaces are very porous. There are brick lines under the paint.
Measures 9 inches x 4 1/2 inches x 1 1/2 inches. This is larger than an ordinary brick. And it does stand on its own.
