**About the Book**
This art book is a collection of works by Seiho Takeuchi (born December 20, 1864, died August 23, 1942), a pre-war Japanese painter.
Seiho Takeuchi was a pioneer of modern Japanese painting, with a career spanning half a century. He was a leading figure in the Kyoto art scene before the war, a member of the Imperial Household Art Academy, and the recipient of the first Cultural Order.

This book is a comprehensive collection of Seiho Takeuchi's works, including many that are no longer known to be in existence. It can be considered a "raisonné" of his art.
