Every XPT should have this breather kit!! We found that the factory clutch venting is not sufficient in properly cooling the belt. Additional venting is needed to prevent belt/clutch wear and failure. This is especially true when adding horsepower. The factory outlet is on the other side of the secondary, making it hard for air to escape on the plastic cover side. This 2.5" vent tube helps reduce temps with our without our CVT blower.

 We have a half inch gap to make up with the supplied worm clamp. If you are not okay with making up the gap with the clamp (seals and works perfectly fine) then do not purchase this product. We try to make things as perfect as possible, but sometimes working with suppliers and having low volume items... you have to work with what you can. This is by far the nicest breather on the market, and this is the only "issue" with this product.

• Drops belt temps 20-30 degrees on average
• Some cutting of factory plastics is necessary
• Installation is easy and the breather is dirt and water tight
• Fits under the factory clutch pre-filter for a factory look that functions
• You will need a 2-3/4" hole saw for installation
• The tube going to the clutch cover fits on the adapter loosely (3" ID tube going to a 2.5" OD tube).
