Memoir of mountaineering and ascents of 14 of the most challenging peaks throughout the life of Reinhold Messner. With photographs and accounts of the journeys. Jacket is scuffed but is protected from further damage now that it’s in an archival sleeve. Price clipped jacket. Previous owner’s inscription on front endpaper, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. Wear around the edges of jacket and boards, especially to the bottom edge. Mildly bumped corners and softened spine ends. Slightly split binding in a few places but remains strong on the whole and all pages are attached. See photos for condition.
