Reed & Barton silverplate spoon holder and/or waste bowl, potentially dating from the Victorian era around 1865. It is made of silverplate, possibly quadruple plate, and features decorative grape vine motif etching around the bowl. It is designed to hold multiple spoons on a central carousel-like rack and can also serve as a waste bowl. Table call bell is in the bottom, rung by tapping the top and in working order. The base features ornate, figural feet.
Measures about 9”h x 5” across.
Some wear and light scratches to the silver plate, but overall nice vintage condition. As a series of I initials, I think “MMC”? Small dent on lower side, easier felt than seen. See last pic. Needs polishing.
