A rare Franziska Hirsch teapot decorated with an onion design pattern in underglaze blue. Equipped with a rattan handle.
With blue underglaze painted mark to base: 'H' beneath crossed lines.

Used from: 1894 – 1896
Dresden (Germany – Saxony) (1894 – 1896). There are 2 small brown spots on back side of pot, from when it was made, they are glazed over, (see pic) The Spout has a small chip on the end (see pic) and a .5" crack on the outside, under the bottom of the spout, not all the way through. The handle is made of wood, metal, and wrapped in rattan and is in excellent condition.
Approx 10" long with spout, 6" tall without handle, 12" tall with handle, 6.5" diameter.
Matching Sugar bowl is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. 3" tall by 5.5" wide
