Presenting a Stunning Set of 1880s, Handmade, VICTORIAN FRENCH JET Swag, Beadwork, Trim Embellishment, Tassel Dangles. Perfect for your next creation.
Four swag bead strands are connected to two bead medallions with a center bead medallion dangle.
Shortest strand measures 11".
Longest strand measures 16".
Medallions measure 1" in diameter x 1/2" deep with 3 1/2" multi-dangle strands.
An extra medallion dangle is included for repair use.
The ornate, French Jet Beads and Cabochons, also known as Black Glass beads, were created in Czechoslovakia from the finest glass.
Each faceted bead and cabochon was hand-sewn or hand-strung into place to form delicate designs. The original black silk string still holds firmly.
Top rosette designs have leather or stiff material backing.
Extremely Fine Condition ~ One medallion is missing its outer border of faceted French Jet Beads. An additional medallion dangle is included to use for repair.
