Center features Raphael's Madonna del Granduca
The side panels feature trumpet blowing angels
Front doors have knob handles and gorgeous gesso work
This is a very large antique triptych with stunning gesso work
13.25" tall, 8" wide when closed, 14.25" wide when open
Due to the age and wooden handwork, the base wants to lean forward when the doors are open. I placed a penny under the base and it steadies it just fine.
Top metal ring also allows this triptych to be hung on the wall
Please note photos: there are several areas (mostly on the top edge and door edges) where the paint is chipped
I've been collecting and selling Italian Florentine triptychs for quite a few years. I have never seen one this large, this old and in this condition
