Antique Ornate Bronze Brass Porcelain Elfinware Vanity Dresser Jewelry Music Box

Crafted with a rich blend of materials, this antique 19th century vanity casket music box is a testament to the intricate craftsmanship of the era. The box features a a gilded bronze base with very ornate figural details throughout and is nicely footed. It has a removable clear glass jar that is topped with a handmade porcelain medallion embellished with elaborate colorful flowers.
This music box has a Reuge mechanical movement music box. The music piece is marked Swiss. It does windup and play music. It serves as a sophisticated piece for collectors or as a unique decorative item to elevate any dressing table arrangement. It measures 4.5" tall by 4" wide. It is marked Helvetic with music notes on the bottom.
The flowers have no chips. The metal is tarnished and shows its age. The mirror does has aging change in one section in the edge a black speck discoloration in the middle. Please see photos for further details.
