Antique Vintage Victorian Yellow Gold GF Amethyst 5 Stone Pin Brooch CHATELAINE
It measures approx. 3.5" long x 2.5" wide. All 5 stones are secure in their setting. I don't know if the stones are genuine or glass. I feel their glass. That big center chaton stone measures just under 1 inch across - same with the oval. It has beautiful detailing and and a secure clasp. I've hung onto it for years. I actually have no clue what the metal composition is. It does not stick to a very strong magnet - even the chain. I do know that old heavy plate doesn't either. There are no marks whatsoever on anything.

The chain is a very unusual link that I don't see much or hardly ever. The jump rings are also not soldered. Not sure if that's a clue or not. I don't profess to be an expert on jewelry even after 42 years. If you are a fan of this type of jewelry you might just know more than me. If I can answer a question for you don't hesitate to ask.
