Abbas Katouzian (1923 – April 12, 2008)
Born in Tehran, Katouzian studied art history in his youth and chose Kamal-ol-Molk as his mentor. He followed the latter in developing the realistic movement in Iran. His works have been exhibited five times in the United States, once in London, and twice in France, and in 1973, Katouzian participated in a joint exhibition of the National Council, assembling with the works of Kamal-ol-Molk. Katouzian's paintings have been featured in over 200 magazines worldwide.
