The ASICS Gel-NYC Indigo is a low-top performance shoe with an upper supported by layers of colorful overlays.
The Indigo ASICS Gel-NYC has an upper made of white mesh for breathability. Hairy suede overlays in different shades of blue cross almost the entire upper, providing durable support. Indigo and Navy overlays form the toecap, mudguard, and eyestays, and also cross the sides in the classic ASICS stripes pattern. The heel is also supported by these overlays, and Gel branding can be seen at the back. ASICS branding is seen in white under the lateral ankle and again on the tongue. The white midsole is enhanced with Gel technology for comfort and energy return, and the look is completed by a black outsole.
What we love most about this shoe are the way the overlays truly support the foot where it’s needed most: around the side panels and ankle area.
