Demi-parure 1940s Gold Vermeil Over Sterling Rhinestone Brooch & Earring Set. I cannot find the maker for this piece, but you can tell when holding or looking at the construction of these pieces that this is high end jewelry. Sterling is stamped on both the brooch and the earrings in several places. This is not lightweight sterling silver. All three pieces together weigh approximately 39 grams on my kitchen scale. These rhinestone have fire in them, and photos can't do them justice. A previous owner took great care of these pieces because most of the vermeil wash is still there. I have only lightly polished with a polishing cloth. The aqua center stone is magnificent.
