Limited edition of 500 copies of "Arabian Nights," translated by Kiyoshi Sakai, based on the Mardrus edition, edited by Hokumei Umehara, 1927. No inscription, but includes a single-page translator's preface by Kiyoshi Sakai and a business card from a private publisher in the French Concession in China. It is said to have been disguised as a Chinese publication to avoid censorship. There is no proper colophon. The cover is approximately 33 cm tall, 24 cm wide, and 3 cm thick.

Spine missing (the spine was originally made of the same paper as the cover, with no lettering), with repair marks. There are cuts, stains, distortions, scratches, spots, scuffs, and folds. The text is printed in two colors. The text paper also uses multiple types of paper, including the title page and illustration pages. Most books in the used book market have spots, and this book also has many spots. Please refer to the photos.
