Made and published by, the Institute of Marx-Engels-Lenin under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, in Moscow 1951. The album is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the death of the first chairman of the Cheka - Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky.

(1877-1926) - a revolutionary, a Polish nobleman by origin, a Soviet statesman, head of a number of people's commissariats, founder of the Cheka. Member of the Polish movement. He was repeatedly arrested, escaped twice, was released under an amnesty several times, spent 11 years in hard labor and in exile. His heroic image is presented along with the images of other great leaders.
