● Levi's PREMIUM UK501
Made in the Philippines, a silhouette model inspired by the UK 501. Compared to the "US Fit 501 (03501)", the rise is 1cm shallower, and the difference between the knee width and hem width is almost non-existent. Features a cowhide leather patch, a "UK 501" pis name, and color-coordinated stitching in yellow and golden brown using four different types of thread. The denim uses "CONE XUVS DENIM," a narrow-width red-selvedge denim made using Draper looms that have been used by Cone Mills in the US for about 80 years. "CONE XUVS DENIM" is a premium denim that faithfully reproduces the recipe from 1963, preserved in the Cone Mills archives. It reproduces the narrow-width denim with selvedge that ceased production in 1983, using the Draper looms of the time. It uses authentic pure indigo, and faithfully reproduces the twisting that occurs after washing. "CONE XUVS DENIM" is 12.5oz unwashed, and 13.7oz after washing, a special denim with the same weight as the XX denim often used in the 1960s.
