Rare L.L.Bean Tyrolean Knit Cardigan
This is an L.L.Bean Tyrolean knit cardigan from around the 1980s.
The color is black, and it's a rare piece compared to other L.L.Bean Tyroleans. The understated Tyrolean embroidery makes it easy to incorporate into your fashion. Also, the aluminum buttons without any engravings or decorations contribute to its wearability.
The fabric uses high-density wool fabric that has undergone traditional shrinking processing, originating from the Tyrol region of Austria, called Loden wool, making it of very high quality. Because it uses boiled wool, it's both soft and durable, and less prone to losing its shape. Therefore, it looks great worn on its own, and when used as an inner layer for a coat or jacket, the embroidery on the front provides a nice accent.
