Nice vintage print features a young, beardless Abraham Lincoln in front of the U. S. Post Office in New Salem, Illinois. Lincoln served as postmaster of New Salem from May 7, 1833, to May 30, 1836, when the post office was moved to Petersburg, Illinois . He often delivered mail and newspapers to his fellow New Salem residents.
