That's no misprint, no mistake. I take Macs BEYOND what apple says is the limit, so this 2012 Unibody MacBook Pro 13 is now STILL USEABLE for the foreseeable future because it runs MacOS 12 Monterey, and it runs it GOOD!!
This isn't an old jalopy, the CD/DVD STILL WORKS (See photo)!!
It's got 8GB of ram so that's why it can run Monterey.. and 1TB HDD too.
Why is this Monterey important? Because it kinda makes this Macbook MORE than just a 2012 Mac, it makes it more like a 2016 Mac. A 2012 Mac should only be able to run MacOS 10.12 Catalina, which is starting to show signs of age. If you go to Chase.com for banking, you won't be allowed to as the browser is too old. You can't upgrade the safari browser unless you upgrade the Mac OS, which YOU cannot.
I can however, and I did. You now have 2 Operating systems AFTER Catalina, and should be good to go for several years without having any "your browser is too old messages. Battery is good, charger included. WIFI, CAM, BT all good!
