Mid-Century 1950s Dorset Rex Co. silver metal and lucite basket weave purse. The top of the purse is a gray marble lucite, and the handle is clear lucite. The metal closure works properly. The shiny metal basket material has natural age wear scuffs as pictured. The lining is missing, but there is a black satin fabric liner over the cardboard bottom. The outside bottom of the purse is inscribed US Pat. 248683. 7.25” H x 8.5” W x 5” D. Handle is 3.7” H.
