Except for Volumes 5 and 6, the books themselves show little sign of use.
There is soiling on the top, fore-edge, and bottom edges of the pages.
The box covers are heavily damaged and soiled.
The wax paper is torn or folded, and the wax paper for Volume 5 is missing. If removed, the front and back covers should be clean.
There are stickers on the inside back covers of Volumes 2, 3, and 4. (Image 11)
