This is a extremely fine quality Roman double headed snake bracelet with beautiful decorations all throughout the length of the bracelet. This is circa 2nd century BCE to 4th century ce, ad. Making it smack dab between emperor Julius Caesar and his adopted nephew emperor Augustus. I made a museum quality stand out of zebra wood as the base and attached the bracelet to a piece of Japanese azalea.An all natural finish which will not permeate the bracelet was added to the wood.The bracelet is set in place by using wires that will not corrode or interact with the original bronze and the piece can be removed to be cleaned and set back in place. This is definitely a 1 of a kind piece that I'm half tempted to keep it for my own collection. I have not had one of this quality ever.
