His right front leg is made with plastic and fabric to create a prosthetic paw and is Douglas first plush that represents a dog with a prosthesis. This rescue dog was created based off the real Bingley who lives in Cape Cod with his family. He was rescued by a golden retriever rescue in Jamaica where he had a paw injury in which he lost his paw. The real Bingley gets around fine with and without his prosthetic.
