Rare US Military M-47 Overcoat Parka S Stencil Wool Liner

A vintage M-47 overcoat parka from the 40s-50s, ordered by the USAF. This is a genuine US military item, incredibly cool with stenciling on the back, and extremely rare.

It was only adopted for a short period before the M-48 and M-51 parkas, also known as Mod's coats, were adopted, so good condition examples are becoming scarce.

It comes with a wool liner in good condition with few stains and no tears.

The zipper is a large TALON aluminum zipper with a pull tab, and it functions properly. There are no issues with the insertion point.

The size is US size S, which is equivalent to a Japanese size M~L. It's an overcoat, so it has a generous fit.

Actual measurements:
Width (underarm): Approximately 62cm
Shoulder width: Approximately 48cm
Length (from the back of the collar): Approximately 100cm
Sleeve length (from the shoulder): Approximately 65cm

Condition is that of used, vintage military clothing, so there are light sun fading, stains, and scuffs overall. Unfortunately, the underside of the right sleeve has been repaired with stitching. However, the collar and cuffs are in good condition. There are no missing or broken buttons. I think it's an easy-to-wear item for those accustomed to vintage military clothing.
