Edit** Researched about this. It is a rare dress from Gaza about 100 years old. These are extremely rare and this fabric is not made anymore. It’s definitely invaluable even given its condition. Hope it will find a great home that will appreciate its historical significance.
Antique/vintage fully handmade embroidered patchwork tunic kaftan. I believe it is Hungarian Matyó embroidery, but not sure. Could be Afghan? Beautiful hand sewn dress that has been patched and repaired many times. Heavy cotton material, looks like indigo and white panels garment dyed pink to make rich purple and pink color blocks. Embroidered trim panel on back. I am selling this as is without cleaning it, as I don't want to damage the embroidery. I am leaving that for the buyer to decide on. There are stains and fading throughout. See detail photos. The patchwork has some holes to it. Beautiful as a display piece.
