"ROYAL MER" is a knit and cut-and-sew brand that still maintains its "Made in France" status. The new collection, which started in the 2023 S/S season, is directed by Mr. Masato Koyama, the designer of the popular brand "HEUGN".
This short-sleeved knit "HUGO" has a silhouette with dropped shoulders and a roomy body, yet it doesn't look clumsy and has a modern feel. The ribbing at the hem and cuffs creates a design element, with the folds above the ribs adding to the high level of completion. The knit material is tightly woven, resistant to shape loss, and has a smooth, thick texture. This is a piece that combines the technical skills of a traditional knit brand with Mr. Koyama's design.
