These canisters are a very pretty blue cobalt glass color. The glass is not a cheap thin glass but a thicker more sturdy depth. There is a floral design on all sides in the center and there are ridges along the bottom and top of canister. They are both triangular shaped (3 sided). The stoppers are wooden with rubber seals that are old and cracked and will need replacing to get the proper seal. Measurements for the taller jar: 11 1/4" tall by 3" across top opening by 3 3/4" across one side. The lid is 1" tall. The smaller jar is: 5 1/2" tall by 3" across top opening by 3 3/4" across one side. These canisters would be great for pasta, candy, rice, etc or for displaying on shelves or windowsills.
