Soundesign model 2443 AM/FM police band HI/LO Vintage transistor radio AC or DC

This was built in 1980. 42 years ago this baby was made in the USA, and not only does it still work, it works EXCEPTIONALLY well! It is in like new condition. No dings, tears in the cover, missing knobs, broken antenna none of what you normally see in electronics nearly half a century old. The Police bands BOTH work and the headset jack works. When you unsnap and open the back, the clear protective cover is intact and you can see AND access all internal components for repair or modification. The Battery Caddy works and can be unsnapped and removed for cleaning. The VERY LONG telescope antenna can easily be replaced as well. You can find the schematics inside rear cover along with ac cord storage. The sound is still loud and clear even after all this time. This is truly a rare find. This is in better condition than the one found in the radio museum, made to USE not sit on a shelf. Others in worse condition have sold for more, but want to see this one go to good home, be appreciated
