Tramp for the Lord - Corrie Ten Boom (1st edition HC) 1974

First edition (no print number) hardcover copy of Tramp for the Lord by Corrie Ten Boom (Christian Literature Crusade / Fleming H. Revell, 1974). Memoir of the renowned author and public speaker who spread her Christian message of love and compassion around the world after a childhood of being persecuted by the Nazis for protesting their treatment of the Jewish people - a childhood which was shared with the world in her previous memoir, The Hiding Place. Jacket is protected in archival sleeve but with some rubbing to faces , heavy wear around the edges and some liquid staining around the edges as well. Chipping and larger missing pieces of jacket around the edges - with some creasing and small tears as well. Boards are straight and clean. Binding is firm on the whole though binding is split at title page. Previous owner’s inscription on first page, some sparse underlining/margin notes, and liquid staining to to fore edge of text block. See photos
