This is an exquisite, blown glass Christmas ornament, designed in 1991 by artist Susan McAllister for Coyne's Inc. of Treasured Visions. The technique to paint these types of ornaments is amazing in that first the egg is mouth blown. Then the inside is actually painted using many different paint brushes; some of which have only a few hairs width!
