Purchased 28 years ago, I wore it after removing the concho buttons. It has been stored in a closet for over 20 years.

This is a TRUJILLO'S Chimayo vest.

Each piece is handmade by TRUJILLO'S. This is a classic Rio Grande pattern. Among them, the rare, vibrant red color is eye-catching. Although there is some slight soiling on the inner piping, the body is clean, so it can be worn without any problems.

Trujillo's is a representative workshop and one of the long-established weaving shops that weave using traditional techniques passed down through generations in the Chimayo district of New Mexico, USA. Widely known as a specialty store for Chimayo blankets, each piece is handmade by weavers living in Chimayo and its surrounding areas. The founder, John R. Trujillo's, is said to have the world's highest level of skill, and now, with Carlos Trujillo's, his son, at the center, the products are produced only by craftsmen who have worked in their own workshop for many years, making it a very valuable brand.
