U.S. Military Surplus
Issued to U.S. Military Police and others.
A leather belt pouch for storing a first aid kit.
From around the 1970s, the belt loop on the back became a slit in the main body, but this is an older model with a separate belt loop that extends from the back of the flap.
First aid cases of this type are rarely found in good condition, and most are crushed and flattened.
1950 contract.
Deadstock, unused item.
Made by J.Q.M.D. (Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot).
I think it's rare to find a pouch with the Quartermaster designation. Most from the same era have the contractor and year markings.
There is no significant damage other than the aging deterioration from storage.
Please understand that the metal parts, such as the rivets, have developed a patina due to aging.
External dimensions: approximately 12x8x3 (cm)
