U.S. Military-Issued Field Mess Kit
Includes a pan with a handle and a lid/plate with two compartments.
The handle is spot-welded.
While WYOTT-made mess kits, which lack a contract number on the body, are available as boxed deadstock items from recent years, this one has the "U.S." dot marking, indicating it was issued in the 1980s.
There is a slight dent on the bottom, but no warping or burn marks, and the surface coating remains. It is unused deadstock.
These were not individually boxed during this era, but delivered in bulk, so there are some scratches on the surface.
Also included is a set of genuine U.S. military-issued cutlery: spoon + fork + knife.
Can be stored inside the mess pan.
Both items have no damage that would affect their use.
