For your consideration is this vintage bon bon dish sold by Mt Vernon during our nation's bicentennial. The pattern by Viletta Fine China is designed like a cross stitch sampler of 1776 - 1976 Independence Hall in Philadelphia and George Martha Washington with the slogan "Liberty and Justice for All". The edges are scalloped and gold gilt. There is a little gold loss noted. The piece measures 5 inches long x 5 inches wide x 1.8 inches high. There are no chips, nicks or breaks noted. The bottom is marked "Mt. Vernon / Va" and inscribed "USA" and lightly impressed "Viletta" and "USA". Felted feet have been added to protect the bottom.
