Bring back a piece of 1980s nostalgia with this rare African American edition of the "Baby Doll Surprise." Includes her original floral and gingham pastel romper and her matching light blue hair ribbon.
The vinyl body, face, and limbs are in good condition with bright coloring and minimal wear. The doll is currently shown with her hair in the longest position. Approximately 14" tall.
Left Arm (Crank): Works perfectly! Moving the left arm in a cranking motion successfully pulls the hair back into the head to the shorter position.
Right Arm (Release): release mechanism triggered by the right arm is currently not engaging. You can still "grow" the hair by setting the right arm in the upright position and gently pulling the hair out manually. It's likely an internal spring or gear issue that could be repaired by an experienced doll restorer or vintage toy hobbyist.
