A rare 1930s "Victorian Revival" gown looking for a second life! This is a true vintage piece from the late 30s/early 40s featuring puffed sleeves, a basque waist, and a tiered skirt. Sold as a RESTORATION PROJECT.
Era: Late 1930s (verified by side metal zipper & silhouette).
Wedding Gown / Afternoon Tea Dress / Historical Costume.
Rayon Faille (Ribbed texture, semi-sheen).
Features: Side metal zipper, 20+ button front, tiered bustle-style skirt.
Condition: Poor / As-Is Needs major TLC or a dye bath!
The internal metal buttons have rusted, leaving significant rust stains on the bodice and sleeves. Buttons are crumbling.
Scattered storage dirt/stains throughout. Has not been laundered.
Seam separation/pulling at the back waist.
Best Use: Perfect for a "Corpse Bride" costume, theatre production, or dyeing project (dyeing it black/navy would hide the rust!).
