Vintage Goebel stoneware pitcher made in West Germany and marked Handarbeit (handmade). Finished in traditional German salt glaze with raised cobalt blue scrollwork and brown grape decoration in classic Westerwald style.
The piece features a rounded body, sturdy handle, and flared rim. Marked on the base with the Goebel stamp, W. Germany, Salzglasur, and incised factory reference numbers.
A solid example of mid-century German stoneware. Nicely decorative and functional as a display piece.
Condition
