Made prior to 1960 when the JB/JE #s began to be stamped on exported binos, usually on the front hinge yoke, it was made by Itabashi, JB-22. We know that because of the small symbol stamped on the front hinge cap as well as the Field Curvature (FC) to the nicely wide, now ultra sharp, views that this manufacturer was known for. We own at least a half dozen JB-22 models such as the iconic Bak-4 loaded Tasco Model 124 7x,50 Extra Wide: an eleven degree beauty with jaw dropping views!
