In 1951 in Central Europe, a young Hungarian man named Jeno, writing in German, made a hand crafted keepsake friendship folder memory album for his close friend, a young woman with initials AM. This beautifully preserved Andenken gift may have been made at the end of the school year to hold certificates, dance invitations, theater ticket stubs, notes and letters, namecards and photographs and as a courtship remembrance.
