This listing is for one set of three vintage Western Stoneware nesting mixing bowls. The two larger bowls are marked on the bottom a the maple leaf with a W in the middle, the small bowl has just the maple leaf.
Bowl 1 is mustard yellow and measures approximately 9.25" wide, 5 3/8" tall, and 4.25" across the base.
Bowl 2 is dark brown and measures approximately
8" wide, 4.75" tall, and 3.75" across the base.
Bowl 3 is light green and measures approximately
5.25" wide, 3" tall, and 2.50" across the base.
All three bowls are in great condition for their age.
Bowls all together weight 6 lb 2 oz.
No cracks or chips. Great vintage set.
FYI: The pottery company that made bowls with a maple leaf embossed mark with a "W" in the middle was Western Stoneware. This mark was in use until 1930, after which they changed to "Monmouth Western Stoneware". Western Stoneware also had a long history, with roots in the Monmouth Pottery Company, founded in 1894.
