For your consideration is this vintage glass centerpiece bowl produced by Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, during the early 1970s (MPN: G3455). Seller's research identified the original "Lombardi" Bowl design to have been first produced out of Italy (see first "Reference" photo provided) in 1957. This original bowl was 11 1/4 inches long. Jeannette Glass began making these in shell pink in 1958. The second reference photo shows a newspaper advertisement for the clear bowl with 22K Gold Trim indicating Jeannette Glass as the maker. The date on that advert was 1974. This centerpiece bowl does have a green hue, but does not fluoresce under 365nm or 395nm UV light, thus not appearing to contain lead or manganese. Made of pressed glass, this centerpiece bowl features an embossed Italian floral and dimple design, with visible seams and a polished interior.
