Very good vintage condition for its age. Box remains solid and completely full (powder still shifts inside). Expected shelf wear: edge/corner rubs, a few creases, light scuffs, and some minor discoloration from decades of storage (all shown in photos). Colors are still bright, graphics crisp, and the “15¢ OFF” burst is perfectly legible. Displays beautifully!
This is the short-lived “Total Color AJAX” – the version Colgate-Palmolive launched in the mid-1970s to compete directly with the new wave of color-safe, all-temperature detergents. Full, unopened boxes with the original price burst are exceptionally rare.
