Vintage Murano or Venetian Style Blue and Uranium Green Vaseline Glass Sommerso Cased Swan Bird Duck Figurine with a graceful curving neck and cheeky beak tilt in clear, green and blue glass and an applied clear base.
Lovely vintage preowned condition: there are sharp spots at the beak and tail that have likely always been there and there are some bubbles in the glass consistent with hand-blown pieces. Under one wing there is a row of small scratches that I believe are marks from a tool, but it's possible it's a signature. Please check all photos carefully. This piece sits on a clear applied base with a flower or scalloped shape and concentric circles on the base. It is about 8" tall, 5" long, and 3" wide, and it glows bright green under UV ultraviolet black light.
