【Product Details】
Based on valuable archives of WILD THINGS, the basic silhouette remains largely unchanged, maintaining the rugged impression unique to military wear. Only the removable hood has been adjusted to a slightly more compact size for urban use.
The insulation uses "Primaloft®," a synthetic fiber developed by ALBANY in response to a request from the US military. This high-performance insulation material, also used in the original HAPPY SUITS, is as light and warm as down, with excellent flexibility, and also boasts water repellency, a feature not found in down, ensuring that it maintains its warmth even when wet.
The most distinctive feature of this special edition model is the outer fabric, developed by the Japanese chemical material manufacturer "Komatsu Matere." It's a special fabric knitted with ultra-high density polyester and nylon. It has functions similar to waterproof and breathable materials, preventing rain and wind while allowing moisture to escape.
It features a nubuck-like brushed texture and a unique firmness due to product dyeing. Furthermore, despite being a synthetic fiber, it offers a unique aging process similar to leather or denim as it is worn, making it a one-of-a-kind, high-performance material.
