Age of Wisdom brand was founded in 2010 and ceased production around 2015/16. This shirt is a fabulous example of what they did best. Gorgeous ice dyed 100% cotton snap front Western style shirt.
Ice dyeing is a fabric dyeing technique that uses ice and powdered dye to create unique, marbled patterns. The process involves layering ice cubes on top of scrunched or folded fabric, then sprinkling powdered fiber-reactive dye over the ice. As the ice melts, it carries the dye into the fabric, creating intricate, organic designs.
This was done with blues and greens over a striped base. Really cool and unusual. Pearl snap buttons and functional snap breast pockets. Ribbon detail down the button band. White stitching throughout. Snaps on cuffs.
